For years companies have attempted to track and manage recommendations (e.g., action items) using programs not designed for tracking. As a result, action items were either overlooked, not implemented, or forgotten. The action items generated were not being completed.
Tracker™ was specifically designed to facilitate easy electronic tracking. No longer do you have to use paper and pencil, multiple programs or “guesswork” for managing action items. Tracker is a fully integrated and automated application for tracking action items from conception to completion. It includes full email capability along with scheduled automated tasks such as reporting, sending emails, reminders, and archiving.
Tracker is designed to simplify the workflow of tracking types of any action items that need to be managed such as PHA recommendations and audit finding. Instead of multiple people being responsible for ensuring action items are completed, Tracker assigns responsibility to those who need to complete the action items and to those who are managing the completion of the action items.
Tracker can be used in multiple modes. One mode is using Tracker and Tracker Client. Individuals who are responsible for ensuring action items are completed use Tracker to send emails, schedule items, and create reports on the action items. Individuals responsible for completing the action items use Tracker Client to provide responses and updates.
For Tracker Client, there is an unlimited license.
In addition to using Tracker Client to provide responses, users can enter responses directly into the Tracker file. Users can enter responses directly into the Tracker file via Responder mode. This is a security setting in which a user is given a login account to see only action items and requests assigned to them. Users can only add responses for requests similar to what they would have done using Tracker Client. No other functions are available with this mode.
For Responder mode, as long as there is an activated valid Tracker key, there is no limit to the number of people that can be running in Responder mode.
Tracker can also be configured using rules based on security for users. Based on how the rules are configured, people may have full access to the Tracker file, however, they are limited to seeing only their action items. In this mode, each user is responsible for managing their own action items.

- Automation - Easily and effectively manage your action items with minimal effort. For example, you can configure Tracker to automate sending all requests, reminders, escalations and even reports.

Includes a natural workflow through importing /adding action items, requesting updates, receiving responses, generating reports, and closing action items.
- Display Options - In both the activity and list windows, create custom views of your data. For each view, determine what filters, sorting, display, columns and forms used. Easily switch between any view to easily access you required data.
- Configuration -
Fully customize Tracker. Easily create automated tasks (e.g., reports, archiving), add user-defined fields, create custom forms, etc.
- Email -
With built in email, you can configure Tracker to send (SMTP) and receive (POP3, IMAP4) emails outside of your current email program. This allows you to manage communications easily for your action items in one software program. You can also send and receive emails via MAPI through your email program
- Importing Data Into Tracker - Data that can be saved as a CSV/TXT file can be imported into Tracker. A full import utility is included allowing you to map data from your CSV/TXT file to fields in Tracker. If you have PHAWorks®, Tracker can import recommendations directly from the PHAWorks project into a Tracker file.
- Exporting Data - Need to use data from Tracker in other programs? Simply export to a CSV file for use in programs such as Excel and other programs that open CSV files.
- Updating PHAWorks - If you have PHAWorks, Tracker can send data back to the PHAWorks project electronically updating the recommendations in the PHAWorks project.
- Escalating -
Easily automate sending of emails to stake holders when items are not being addressed. Send up to three different emails with the status of action items.
- Reporting - Four reports formats (Statistical, Form, Cost Analysis, List) allow you to know exactly where you are with tracking any item, at any time.
- List Window - Directly edit in the list window or activity window for easy access to modifying your data.
- Search - Need to limit your list of action items. Simply enter text into the basic or advanced search toolbar and easily find your data.
